My Weekly Notion Routine (Step-by-Step with Screenshots)

Ever wonder how some people seem to have their life together without breaking a sweat? Spoiler: it’s not magic, it’s routine. And Notion makes it ridiculously easy to stay organised, on track, and in control. Here’s exactly how I do it every week — step by step.

Why You Need a Weekly Reset Routine (Especially if You’re a Creative, Biz Owner or ADHD Brain)

Life is loud. Work gets busy. And our brains? They LOVE chaos. That’s why I swear by my Sunday (or Monday) Notion ritual.


This 20-minute reset helps me:

  • Brain dump all the stuff spinning in my head
  • Plan my week clearly and visually
  • Prioritise my goals and tasks
  • Avoid forgetting things like appointments or bills

If you’re tired of dropping the ball or waking up stressed, this is for you.

Step 1: Reflect + Reset

I start by opening my Weekly Dashboard and doing a quick reflection. In my template, I check off:

  • Wins from last week
  • What didn’t work
  • What felt good vs. draining

Then I clear my digital desk — clean up old tasks, archive finished items, and prep for the week ahead.

Step 2: Brain Dump Everything

This is my favourite part – no structure, just get it out. I use a toggle section labeled "Hot Mess Dump" (lol).

I list:

  • To-dos I’ve been avoiding
  • Ideas that popped up mid-scroll
  • Errands, events, biz tasks, meals, you name it

Everything goes here before it gets sorted.

Step 3: Prioritise + Plan

Once I’ve got the mess out of my head, I drag items into my Weekly Planner view:

  • Top 3 priorities for the week
  • Must-dos by category (home, biz, health, etc.)
  • Flexible to-dos

I colour code tasks using simple tags (this is a game-changer for ADHD brains).

Step 4: Calendar Sync + Time Blocks

My Notion calendar connects to my Life + Biz dashboards. I drop in:


  • Appointments
  • Meetings
  • Launch tasks
  • Family stuff

This way, I can visually see where I have bandwidth (or don’t!) and make realistic plans.

Step 5: Rituals + Self-Care Check

Last step is checking in with me.

In my routine template, I track:

  • Sleep
  • Movement
  • Mood
  • Self-care goals

Even just writing "bubble bath + phone on Do Not Disturb" makes me feel more grounded.
